Jeff Arch - Director/Screenplay
Jeff broke into screenwriting and movie history with his script for "Sleepless in Seatle," which single-handedly received and reinvented the romantic comedy form. An instant blockbuster, "Sleepless" enjoyed the highest-grossing opening weekend for a romantic comedy, and was nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay and two Golden Globe awards. The screenplay also received nominations from the Writers Guild and the British Academy (BAFTA), while "Sleepless" went on to break the $100 million mark in the US in record time, and nears the half-billion mark worldwide, Jeff also delivered the production rewrite for Disney's popular adventure movie "Iron Will," known as "one of the few movies ever where Kevin Spacey plays a nice guy." In 1999 Jeff wrote and co-produced the romantic comedy "Sealed With a Kiss," starring John Stamos, Annabeth Gish, Angie Dickinson and the late Robert Stack. The movie drew 20 million viewers for CBS and placed 9th in the top 10 shows for that week. Jeff just delivered his novel "the Bell Tower" for publicatoin in 2005, and has been hired to write a Broadway musical based on the tunes of the rock band Chicago.
